Go for a hike with lumber - McIntosh Run aka MRWA - Saturday, February 17th

Hello MRWA Volunteers!
The trail conditions are perfect for hiking… with lumber! “Cool” weather, solid trail, and no bugs! Join us Saturday February 17th, 9:30 - 11:30, to help move lumber for bridges on West Pine. These bridges will help extend the trail from Herring Cove toward Spryfield. The lumber piles are already about 1.5 km down the trail; we’ll be carrying to 2 locations 400 m - 700 m further down the trail.
Meet at the small park on Norawarren Drive near Herring Cove (map). Look for the mailboxes on the right.
If you arrive late, walk in along In-N-Out from the Norawarren Park and turn left on West Pine Trail. Follow it out across the open barren and down to the lower trail via the Notch. It’s a pleasant 15-minute walk along some of our finished trail!
