From Mountain Bike Halifax:
Big thanks to HRM mountain bike community members Neil Smith, Rob Hart, Tim Brown and Bruce Macauley for their generous contribution of $1000 to support trail development in HRM.
In addition to our recent announcement of Councillors Adams, Cleary and Mancini’s contribution of $9000 to support trail building efforts in the McIntosh Run, we have a number of exciting mountain bike trail developments to share in the coming weeks.
Before we do however, we would like to recognize four contributing members of the Halifax mountain bike community who have been instrumental in helping Mountain Bike Halifax get off the ground. For supporting MBH, we would like to acknowledge and thank Drs. Neil Smith, Rob Hart, Tim Brown and Bruce Macauley for their generous contribution of $1000 to help with initial startup and operating costs. These funds have not only been key in establishing the organization but are helping leverage other financial contributions to support trail development in HRM.
We’re fortunate in HRM to have such a strong community of contributing members. If you would like to get involved and show your support, consider getting a membership with MBH by visiting: mountainbikehalifax.com.
