Interesting news. Anything relevant to mountain bikers? Being wilderness, maybe the mountain bikers won’t be allowed in. Looks like some of Fight Trail is on this land or next to it, so I expect MRWA will be involved. I was curious about the fit with MRWA as well.
The Nature Conservancy held an event a few weeks ago inviting folks to hike/bike/swim/kayak in the proposed new park. MRWA was involved and looked after the bike portion of the event.
Not sure what changed that warranted the press release…
Is the $1 million federal commitment new? The article from September only mentions a provincial commitment.
