So had a sidewall blow out on my studded snow shoe tires and really wanted to ride today. This was my fix which got me out on the trails

At first I was super impressed with the field repair… But still impressive fix for a homer (lacking gorrilla tape though!)

Dad time for a new bike 
Studded fat bike tire can run you anyware from 150(of which there are not many) to about 250-300 for the higher end ones. That’s assuming you are looking for brand new. You can sometimes find descent used ones for half that.
Needless to say my bike got studded tires before my car did and the car was cheaper…

Some of the 45NRTH offerings can be more than $400 with studs. It’s insane. I put four Blizzaks (a top of the line tire) on my truck for less.
