Dunno, I remember 26" homemade studded tires being a lot faster. Anyway, still a good day at the Railyard. Forgot my food at home but my wife had two truffles and some bags of halloween sized bags of chips in the car so all good.

Tried putting studded tioga dh 2.3s on this bike, rear tire was rubbing the whole ride. Dug out some specialized tires that I studded up 25 years ago, 2.1/1.9 I think.

Definitely going in the opposite direction of fatness, ha ha.

My old excuse was "how am I supposed to get it anywhere… But I can’t even use that excuse.

People sure seem to like them, that’s for sure.
