Body Armour Recommendations

For being lightweight and flexible, yes I like them. HOWEVER, they’re really not great in a crash on sharp rocks. Granted, the knee pads seemed to be lemons, they were falling apart a little even before the crash; there were a few times I’d had to Shoe Goo the armour pads back on. I opted for some hard-plastic knee pads from Dainese when it came time to replace them. (Note: not super happy with the fit of those, either.) Does G-Form work? Yes, the armoured shirt likely saved me from a broken rib or two on Sunday past, but that was a blunt force impact, not sliding into sharp rocks.

Thanks for the feedback, now I dont know what ones to get :stuck_out_tongue:

I am a big fan of a hard shell that fits properly.
I recently went down fairly hard at mcfight and my knee pads saved me big time.
The g form stuff is designed for more of a bunt force than the sharper impact you can expect on the exposed rock and can slip or be pulled out of position easier as well
