Things are pricier new and used than they were a couple years ago but if you watch you will see the occasional good deal on an older road bike from 10-15 years ago for $500 to $1000. Its tougher if you need a less common frame size like me but lots of stuff in the 54-58cm frame range. I looked at a decent Allez a couple months ago for $400 that I should have bought but wanted to look at another bike first, the Allez sold as soon as I drove away so ended up getting something different.
We’ve been talking about putting a pump track/trail in at Nine MIle, but not in the cards for the near future, unless someone wanted to donate a wad of cash.

That would be so cool if it gets off the ground. I would love to see the confused looks from trail walkers not realizing what it’s meant for.
