Buying new bars and a stem

hey guys. so Im in the market for new bars and a stem. im interested in the race face atlas stem and bars. im not really sure what im doing when it comes to this stuff. still learning when it comes to fixing and adding things to my bike.

my question is, will I run into any problems putting these on my bike? im riding a 2018 giant reign 2 with a Rockshox Yari fork. the diameter of the bar and stem are the same but is that all I need to consider?

Few things to consider :
Bar Diameter vs Stem, these need to be the same, but if you are buying both then you can pic what you want as long as you get both the same (ie 31.8 or 35mm). Jury is out on whats better I think.
Stem Reach : this really is personal pref, trail bikes are usually shorter (ie. 50/60mm or less), XC Bikes are usually longer depending on your wants and needs.
Stem height, depending on height of the new stem vs your old stem and the length of your steerer tube you may need to add or remover spacers or if the new stem is significantly taller the steerer tube could be too short, prob not an issue but worth confirming.

Thats all I can think of off the top

Thank you. Very helpful. :v:

Might be worthwhile to try and find something local if you want it in a reasonable time, shipping from some of those out of country online shops is incredibly slow these days.

Do you mind me asking, what don’t you like about your existing bars and stem? If you like everything about them but just want something flash then all you have to do is make sure you get the same specs (stem angle, stem length, bar width) and then be careful that the bar clamp diameter is the same. I say you can’t go wrong with 31.8.
