We usually do at least one MTB destination annually in the trek between NS and Ontario (vacation). Kingdom Trails are very popular locally for this and deserve their reputation. We have been even more impressed by Vallée Bras-du-Nord Secteur Shannahan (northwest of Quebec City) - http://www.valleebrasdunord.com/mountain-biking-shannahan-english.php , however this year we dropped in to the trail system in Edmundston, just ahead of a weather front. They have a pretty impressive trail system within the Edmundston town boundaries - http://veloedmundston.ca/en/sentiers/carte-des-sentiers . The trails are all reported to be within IMBA standards. Any trail system that starts with climbing +++ and still impresses my wife is worthy of general consideration. I’m not sure that it is destination yet, but it is well worth checking out for any Nova Scotians who find themselves travelling nearby!
