Not even close unfortunately. I think this is the first time I’ve hoped for a bit of rain to melt some of the snow and then harden up.
Bummer. Looks like spring sets in next week, might be good at night or early morning.
I was hoping to get there for a ride tonight. No go, then? Snow still not sticking to the ice underneath?
The ice underneath is not an issue. It’s the couple inches of crust on top…not strong enough to support weight but too firm to properly break up and pack down.
