Economic impact of MTB tourism

Since working in the valley at Valley Stove and Cycle I can honestly say there is a market for this in the maritimes, both road and off road.

I think you’re right about the Nova Scotia potential, we don’t have the huge mountain landscape, but there are some darn fun ripping trails around and the potential for so much more. To boot it’s pretty cheap to be a tourist here, and I’m counting tourist as someone who might drive for an hour or more to get to a trail.

I’m doing my darnedest here to get some legal, advanced level trails and convince people that MTB is something to be embraced. Just recently I saw a draft plan that has potential. Sometimes it feels like making a snail go where you want with salt.
