On my Giant Reign, (squishy with 10 speed SLX drivetrain ) I am having some chain rub at the front deraileur only when the rear suspension is compressed a bit. Like when I am seated and climbing.
Anyone have this issue? Any thoughts on what would cause this?
Try setting your limits while seated on the bike… As the suspension sags, the chain moves up inside the cage, and it sometimes gets wider/narrower/changes shape from the bottom to the top of the cages. Just sit and back pedal to roughly check if it rubs in either side.
