Gorge Trail Clean up Saturday July 28 - BBQ LUNCH PROVIDED

That was killer. We had about 16 people out and got gobs of work done in no time! The trails are looking much cleaner now, what a difference! Thats to all that helped out, espically the Town of Kentville for the BBQ, dumpster and truck to shuttle wood in.

We’re hosting a big public trail clean up on the 28th and really could use a big turn ou. The AVMBA and the Town of Kentville will be looking to haul out all the garbage and old bridges that have been left rotting in and around the trails for the last decade+.

Many hands make light work as they say. FREE bbq lunch for voluentters.

Event starts at 10:00, please stop by and help out, even if for only an hour. We really need a big turn out for this to show the Town that this trail matters to people.

Bring work gloves, and strudy boots. We’ll have a gatror and trailer ready to shuttle bridges from down to a bin in the parking lot. The new larger parking lot I should ad!

Meet at the Gladys Porter Dr. Trail head in Kentville.

It’s really important that we get a good turn out for this, we need to impress the town and really show them how much this park means to its users! Please drop by even if you can only stay for 20min or so.
