Interesting comparison. The results are definitely trail dependent and the difference could be minimized if you made use of your suspension lockout, but either way, not the outcome I expected.

Have raced short track with a full suspension and with a rigid singlespeed with about the same results/placing. My times are more dependent on whether I have that second beer/wine beforehand than what bike I’m riding😄
