That being said, f anyone who leaves bootbombs, and lacks common sense.
A bike shop in New Zealand told me they were legally required to fit reflectors and a bell to every bike they sold! In practice they just gave you a bag with all the reflector bits in it.
The one I hate is when the bike comes with a cassette spoke protector disc. Really annoying to remove because you need to take the cassette off.
Damn!!! I know all the cheap cheap big box store bikes have em Walmart… Canadian tire and the like… kids bikes fully make sense
As for high end adult bike… user discretion… just wear hi vis clothes with reflective tape
Québec was that way with reflectors. You have to sell them with it, but they don’t state they have to be ON the bike. So everyone got a bag with the safety manual and reflectors.
It’s funny because it’s true. So many times I’ve had to tell someone that their whatever was on a truck. Missed the opportunity to say it’s on a boat. But come to think of it, I may have at one point.
