MRWA Trail work - Attic 'Bathtub' - Friday, Sept 6th

Hello MRWA Volunteers!

Please join us on Friday September 6th 8:30 - 12:30 for trail work on The Attic! We will be working on “The Bathtub” before it fills again up again (until next summer!) You don’t need to attend the entire session - come when you can, for as long as you can.

We’ll meet at the “Spar” Trailhead on Mica Crescent in the Governor’s Brook subdivision in Spryfield (map). Wear sturdy shoes and work gloves and bring water. All are welcome, no experience necessary. If you arrive late, take Spar to the end. Where it meets The Attic, go straight and keep going until you reach us. It’s about a 10-minute walk.

These trails are part of the McIntosh Run Trail System, an approved network of singletrack trails for non-motorized recreation on public land between Spryfield and Herring Cove.

Hope to see you out there!

I never knew that spot had an official name but think The Bathtub perfect. LOL

I usually just go over the sketchy rocks on the right to try and stay dry but this summer it has been dirt for the most part

Sorry saw this on the board but didn’t connect it was today!

I was on my way out when I came across the work party unfortunately, it would have been a good day to help out too…

There’s always next time. Watch for ECMTB build days too…starting up again soon.
