New bike squeaky front brakes

Bought a brand new Trance from giant. After a busy week and finally being able to ride it a little just at the campsite I noticed a real nasty squeak out of the front brakes. Sounds like contamination squeak to me.
Anybody else ever have this problem on a brand new bike?
Ive done the take pads off and file them or burn them on previous bikes but i feel i shouldnt have to do that on a brand new bike that I can guarantee i didnt contaminate.
Maybe this is more of a question for giant themselves but i figured Id see if any of u guys or gals had a take on it?

Thanks

Shimano brakes? The pads should be burned into the rotors, for lack of a better description.

Yup shimano brakes MT400

Could have been contaminated right out of the box, could not be adjusted properly, pads may have not been bedded in and are now glazed. Lots of possibilities. Best to bring it back to the store and get them to fix it since it its brand new.

Yeh thats the plan. Just sent them off an email

Ride through a bunch of muddy water. Works almost every time.
