There seems to be lots of interest so far - anyone else want to throw their hat in the ring?
We are in the process of forming the PedalTrout Cycling Alliance, and to this end we are sending out an open call for Directors. The PedalTrout Cycling Alliance will be a non-profit organization that works to meet the following objectives: -Promotion of active living through cycling -The introduction of cycling to potential new riders as a means of fitness, recreation, and social engagement -The facilitation of a ‘community’ of cyclists -Advocacy for safe and suitable riding environments including bike lanes, bike paths and sustainable mountain bike trails The Directors must meet the following criteria: -Currently reside within Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick or Price Edward Island -Be willing and able to meet at least once per year (meeting may be conducted via electronic methods) -Subscribe to and support the above-mentioned objectives of the organization -Directors must be of legal age to hold office If you are interested in helping us get this organization off the ground, please forward an expression of interest to pedaltrout@hotmail.com Thanks!
