Found the right deal on a 2022 Sentinel frameset and decided to pull the trigger and swap everything over. Got it built up today after sourcing a couple key parts, a weekend rear wheel re-build in my living room, and a super-fast turnaround for fork service and 170mm air shaft install by @a.mart as always. Couple loose ends to tidy up and it should be trail ready by the weekend.

It is just the alloy version, but was heavily discounted. Arguably the best riding bike I’ve owned, not in shape and taking 30-40 seconds off 3-4 minute segments of XC trail haha

After a couple months riding (with a separated shoulder tossed in for fun) this thing is pretty much dialed, except for planned wheel rebuilds with new rims in the spring. Aimed for a robust build (so maybe I don’t break as many parts) without trying to break the bank.

How do you like the steady rack? Is that the classic MTB? I’m looking at ordering one, but I’m not sure the mud guard on my fork will clear it
