# Second Lake Trail construction

For the Lower Sackvillains (Sackvillagers?)… this may be old news.

The Second Lake Trail has been extended. We used to ride in the extension down to a clearing by the lake - from there, you could ride a steep gravelly hill to the end of Metropolitain Ave. There’s now a less steep climb that goes on to the end of Armcrest Drive, with a turnoff to the top of the old climb to Metropolitain Ave. All graded crusher dust/gravel doubletrack.

A new parking lot has also been built (was not open as of Sept.14) on the other side of the old parking area on First Lake Dr.
