Why do folks wear vests in the winter? I can’t figure that out. I know its not biking realated, but some folks wear em while biking too. Is it warmth without bulk or?
pretty much. Arms are always moving, when MTBing, and the vest keeps the torso warm. That and I have a few of them.
And it makes it easy to layer with arm and elbow warmers.
In many instances, when your extremities get cold, it’s due to your core being cold, since your body will prioritize your core’s temperature over your extremities.
I like mine because it’s a good rain resistant, windproof fabric that keeps the “body” warm and without the bulk of a sweater or jacket.
