Work Day at Nine Mile River Trail - Saturday April 23

Work Day on the trail again this Saturday April 23, 9:30-1:00.

The weather looks good on Saturday. Showers on Friday means it will be another good day to check how drainage is working. We’ll check drainage from Bog Corner through “Mud Alley” to the Ravine, and address any drainage issues. If drainage is doing OK, we’ll build a trail feature – flat rocks up to and over a standing root at the end of Mud Alley.

Janet and I will ride bikes in, but feel free to walk in and meet us. We have tools. The work site is about a 30-minute walk in. Feel free to come late and/or leave early. Any time you can contribute is valuable.

Trails are drying up nicely at 9 Mile, some wet spots still need TLC to help divert water away from/off the trail :slightly_smiling_face:
