I used to ride my bmx in the forest as a young lad. After a few years I got a bike with gears, then I started riding against other people. I think they called it "racing." After that I would bash my shins repeatedly on my pedals doing rad shit and hopping onto the tops of really big rocks - this was known as "observed trials." Once my shins healed, I would ride to work, every day. And for the sake of my sanity, I would take the long way home, often across town in the opposite direction. After work I would then ride into the forest with a tent and some beer strapped to my bike. This has been come to be known as "bikepacking." Ride bikes, drink beer, get awesome.
