Just saw a commercial for the new Santa Fe. There’s an option you can engage on the vehicle that requires you to pull the door handle twice in order to open the door. After the first pull an alarm sounds alerting the occupant to check for cyclist before pulling the lever a second time.

I’m blown away by the ingenuity.

I wonder could combine that with the “lane changer” thingie so it would stop drivers from cutting off or running into bikes.
