Heads up…rubble from the newest Whopper blast zone is being moved and dumped near the section known as the rock garden (fittingly enough).

Wow! At least there will be no shortage of materials for rock work, assuming this section of trail doesn’t dissapear too.

This section of trail is JUST inside the wilderness protection zone. The rock is being dumped right up to the line.

I noticed some new orange paint and surveying tape. I rode through last week when the excavators and a crew of workers were close enough that I had to stop and wait for them to notice I was coming through. I was worried that this was going to look like the entrance to Evil Birch. Glad there is still a line to ride.
