Selling my 2011 Niner Rip 9. I built this bike up in 2014 and it’s been my main bike since then. The past few years I’ve been riding it slackened out with a 2 degree geoshift headset and a 150 mm fork (over forked by 10 mm). Sad to see this one go, but I have to make room for more bikes. The damper service was just done by Granite Suspension on the rear shock and the fork is essentially new (swapped over from new bike).
It’s been a great bike for riding the local Halifax trails (favourites being Time Flies/Time Out and Gord’s Gold in MacRun and Flip Side/Death March in Whopper). It’s also a blast for some laps at Wentworth.
The frame’s in good shape with typical dings and scratches. The lower linkage hangs below bottom bracket so it’s taken it’s fair share of scrapes but it’s just cosmetic and only something you see when the bike is upside down.
