2025 Specialized Chisel FS purchased new last winter. I’ve upgraded the brakes and drivetrain to Shimano. I swapped out the stock cockpit, fork, brakes, wheels, and drivetrain for a race, then reinstalled most of the new stock components after.
Frame: 2025 Specialized Chisel FS Medium (recommended height 5’5" to 5’10"). Gloss Maroon/White. D’Aluisio Smartweld Alloy. UDH derailleur hanger. Tailored Ride Wrap installed. Flip chip set in low position. 110mm rear travel. X-Fusion PRO-02 190x40mm rear shock. 76 Projects top tube Garmin mount. There’s a small scrape in the wrap on the non-drive side seat stay, and a scratch under the wrap on the downtube near the bottom bracket.
Fork: RockShox Recon Silver RL, 120mm travel, 42mm offset. 110mm boost spacing. Less than one hour of use.
Drivetrain: Shimano XT M8100 rear derailleur, SLX M7100 shifter, SLX M7100 12 speed Hyperglide+ 10-51t cassette. RaceFace Aeffect R 170mm crankset and RaceFace 32t chainring. Shimano MT 801 bottom bracket.
Brakes: Shimano SLX M7120 4 piston brakes with 180mm front, 160mm rear Avid rotors. New pads.
Wheels and Tires: Specialized alloy wheels with Specialized boost hubs. Microspline freehub installed, HG freehub included. Specialized Ground Control front and Fast Track rear tires, 29” x 2.35” tubeless. Tires and wheels are new, have only been ridden to bed in the brakes.
Cockpit: Specialized bar, stem, and grips. TranszX dropper seatpost, 30.9mm, 125mm travel, Upgraded PNW Loam dropper lever. Specialized Power Comp saddle.
