Can I use Shimano mineral oil to lube my fox fork seals. My fork has a bit of friction. I would like to do this https://m.pinkbike.com/news/park-tool-tech-talks-lube-fork-seals-video.html
I use teflon chain lube. It doesn’t attract dirt.

would Pedro’s synthetic lube be the same?
I wouldn’t use Shimano mineral oil and Pedros is a bit thick…
I use TriFlow on all my seals, again it’s teflon based. Fluid Film works alright in a pinch, it’s lanolin based. In any case make sure you cycle the fork a few times and wipe off any excess so it doesn’t attract dirt. Companies like WPL and maybe a few others make specific fork seal lubes too.

Ok thanks
I’ve been using WPL since the spring. It’s great. I couldn’t believe the amount of crap that came out of the seals on a relatively new fork after a few days of dry dusty riding.
