this year we are doing it a bit different!
​We’re stretching out the fun with an epic DAY-TO-NIGHT ride event. 🚲☀️🌙 Join for one or both!

SUNDAY​ NOVEMBER 2nd

​☀️ THE AFTERNOON RIDE
​WHEN: 1:30 PM
​WHERE: Meet at the Bottle Rocket parking lot.
​🍻 THE BREAK
We’ll be grabbing supper/beers between rides. Highly recommend the Kings Arms Kentville or The Library Pub in Wolfville if you want to join!

​🌽🌙 THE CORN MAZE RIDE (NIGHT)
​WHEN: Meet at 6:30 PM don’t be late
​WHERE: Wolfville parking lot
​COST: $10 CASH donation
​MUST-HAVES:
​LIGHTS! (Seriously, you will need them.) 💡
​$10 Cash.
​It’s one of the best rides of the year. See you there!

The ride, is it mtn or gravel?

The corn maze portion can be done with mtn or gravel. I have done both as well as SS with a coaster brake.

I would suggest mtn for a more heads up positioning and better visibility through the tight corners.

Sorry, I ment the 1:30 ride, is it a rail trail gravel ride or a bird sanctuary ride?

It is a bird sanctuary ride.

Any chance there is also a rain date or a soggy-ground-date for this ride as well?

Should be good by Sunday… bird and the corn maze area both drain pretty well.

The wind might be an issue tho if it destroys the maze. @riderx can you get an update on the weekend?

The corn maze is a one shot deal, no rain dates. The corn maze gets plowed down pretty much after we ride it.

Bird will be no problem on Sunday. It drains very well. If the wind blows down the maze I will update.

What’s the maze distance?

We go round and round until we get lost and unlost. Then we do it again. Its less about actually completing the maze and all about riding in a maze at night.

Typically most folks ride for 1.5 to 2 hours, then we head to Library pub to hang out.

Last year my personal ride was 25 km including back and forth to the parking.
