AVMBA/ECMTB Corn Maze ride 2024 - Nov 2nd

AVMBA/ECMTB Corn Maze Ride 2024

Noggins Corn Maze
Beginner:

Charge your lights for the most fun in a a 2km squared area a person can have on a bike!

Noggins is allowing us to ride the corn maze on Saturday November 2nd. This ride begins in Wolfville and we ride along the Harvest Moon Trail to the corn maze and then we weave our way through the maze getting lost, unlost and lost again. We ride until we are tired enough to head back to the Library Pub for some beverages and some great tasting food. (Please be aware the kitchen closes at 9pm).

We will be accepting donation that will be split between Annapolis Valley Mountain Bike Association and Noggins Farms.

Parking available by the wolfville library, and there should be space in the home hardware just down the road.

Do not ride the maze prior to or during the day November 2nd. We have an amazing relationship with Noggins and this is a very unique opportunity for mountain bikers.

Notes: requires lights, dress appropriately, bring money for donation/post ride food etc.

If you plan to attend, please indicate above that you are going and ensure your profile has the Member Name and Emergency Contact fields filled in.

It is every rider’s responsibility to know their own abilities, make smart decisions and ride safely. As a community ride we will ensure you are not left behind and as a group we know we are safer when we have others with us.

Please pay attention to the trail difficulty posted above.

Park/meet at the Wolfville library as usual?

Above says 6:15, is that right? Or is that a 15 minute buffer for a 6:30 ride?

Yes, meet at the parking lot by the wolfville library, across from Paddys Pub. If that lot is full there is additional parking at the home hardware just down the road.

6:15 for 6:30. Due to the number of participants the extra time is necessary for a staggered departure from the parking lot. We will have riders leave Wolfville in groups of 15-20 approximately every 5 minutes.

This is a terrible ride. Worst ride of the year. Don’t even bother. And the maze is really bad this year. It will be no fun at all.

Is this a family friendly ride? Everyone on a full MTB, exept me, I’ll be on a gravel bike.

It is a family friendly ride.

We meet in Wolfville by the library and ride to the corn maze via the Harvest Moon Trail in groups of 15-20. Once we enter the corn maze riders are on their own. As long as there are parents or legal guardians with Children under 16 we are good!
