I haven’t tried a belt drive, but I have read that the alignment and tension has be set perfectly.
To run the belt system you also need a frame where the driveside setstay and chainstay split to put the belt on. Frames like the Spot Longboard and the new Norco are setup for the belt system.
I am thinking about building a 29 inch single speed mostly for grocery getting but am thinking that a belt drive may be a cool feature to incorporate into th project.
Has anyone ever tried this?
