Big Oil Spill in my Workshop

After bending or breaking five lever blades in two years I decided to upgrade to Flo Motorsports levers. The brakes are Shimano XT M8100. The cost if the Flo lever blades should offset itself in the next year of riding. The factory shimano lever blades are hard to find, and aftermarket sellers online typically charge a premium.

Fancy! How does the lever feel compare to te stock lever? I love the shape and feel of the stock shimano levers.

They have a very solid feel. I don’t think they will bend and snap off like the stock lever blades. From what I read online the owner of Flo Motorosports has the same brakes on his enduro bike and he was tired of snapping the lever blades so he designed his own. “-Patented Unbreakable lever design” sounds like a challenge to me…

Looks cool, but like @a.mart said, I love Shimano’s stock XT lever shape, so it would be cool if they could match that without infringing on any patents or whatever.

I loved the 8000 series levers, but the 8100 series not so much.
