Brake rotors..... how thin?

Hello everyone!

Measured my brake rotors and I’m curious when everyone replaces them. Is it dangerous to ride thin rotors, or is it mostly performance loss? Less than ideal heat management and warping come to my mind. Thoughts? Anyone know where I can find some replacements? 200mm and 180mm 6 bolt Sram.

Thanks,

Ryan

I don’t know the number off the top of my head, but Shimano rotors have a minimum thickness printed right on them.

Did some googling and Sram is 1.55mm apparently.

1.50mm absolute min thickness. 1.55mm is best to replace.

Everyone break out their micrometer.
