Hi Everyone,
The forest contractor arrived Tuesday morning at the Brookvale Nordic Centre to start work in the woods. ALL OF THE WEST SIDE IS CLOSED Green Machine, Blue Nuit, Blackfly, Twisted Shifters and the Dark Side. Plus all the double track xc ski trails Planation, Maple Leaf and Paul’s Plunge. This area will be CLOSED until further notice. Please respect the Closed signs and orange tape. This work needs to get done as 1000’s of trees have come down over the last two years due to the hurricanes. We will be replanting over the next few years with af hardwood and white pine trees.
THIS IS A BIG HARVESTOR - IT IS REALLY DANGEROUS - PLEASE RESPECT CLOSURES.
