I’m planning on heading over to PEI next week for a few days. I saw that Glasgow Hills is open again, but was wondering what the conditions were like at Brookvale. Does anyone here know? Thanks!
Glasgow Hills and Cardigan are the only trails I’ve heard of being open. It sounds like Brookvale got obliterated and it’ll be weeks (if not months) until it is open again.
Last they posted they have a ton of work to do. They do have social media, keep an eye out. PEI unfortunately got absolutely hammered like Cape Breton did. The damage is unbelievable.
This is a before and after of the roundabout near Coastline in Brookvale. Seems like this is about the norm for most wooded areas on the Island, so I would think they’ll be hard pressed to get much opened up this season.
