Doing some planning for a summer trip, and wondering if there are any trails in the Economy / Cape Chignecto (NS side) area.
Trailforks says nothing, so I’m just trying to scout around for some hidden MTB gems. If not, I’ll pack up the touring bike and hit the hills of HWY 209.
Any info is appreciated!
Yeah, for whatever reason that area seems like a dead zone for trails. But bonus, in my opinion the stretch between Economy and Advocate is probably the best road riding on the mainland.
If you had a gravel bike it would probably open up a lot more options.
There are a ton of ATV trails between all and the Springhill side and some really nice scenery including waterfalls, the ocean, and old building from days gone by. The descents are pretty decent if you head over Lynn Mountain way, a few freaky interesting ones at that. I’ll send you a GPX or 2 and also worth getting the Komoot app!
