Commercial Liability Insurance

A question for the small business owners of the group: who is your commercial liability insurance provider?

I use Cluett as a broker (it’s worth it) and the policy is through Intact.

We went to a broker when we first opened and got a good price, forget who they set us up with. Then when our contract was up they jacked it up almost 300%. We are now with Intact.

We have several policies. General commercial liability is through Northbridge via Stanhope Simpson, and our Errors and Omissions commercial insurance is through Lloyds via Special Risk Managers and we buy that through Scott Morgan, who is a local rider and good friend. I’ll send you his contact info, @supercraig.

I worked with Stanhope for both my general and E&O. I know a couple people there fairly well, happy to make an intro if you like @supercraig, just DM me.

Portage, they’re more expensive but the service is great.

I’m unable to secure insurance. I’m shutting down for good.

That’s shitty Craig, and that doesn’t bode well for me scaling up.

Sorry to hear that, Craig.

Damn, that sucks.

Totally sucks. What could be better than having a local wheel builder and suspension guy in Halifax.
