This event is another in our popular series of Bicycles Plus “Ladies Only” clinics being held at our great new location, 1248 Bedford Highway. The evening will start at 6:30 pm sharp, and run through to approximately 8 pm. The clinic will cover the following topics. How to repair a flat tire repair, perform a quick pre-ride bike safety check of your machine, as well as including a a brief overview on bicycle drivetrain maintenance.
We ask every lady that plans on attending the event to bring the front wheel off their bike with them. That’s right, your front wheel? You will be performing a hands-on removal and installation of your tire and tube, as well as learning about different methods to inflate your them. Sorry ladies, no hiding in the back and leaving with no skills. We’ll show you a few top secret techniques of the mechanical masters from years gone by that will make your life a breeze. Then you will put these techniques to use yourself and come away with a whole new outlook on your fast rising bike repair IQ.
Please wear appropriate clothing and plan on going home with dirty hands and a ton of confidence in your back pocket. But whats the catch? There must be one. Well, no catch, but two small requests that will help everyone involved. Those who attended our last “Ladies Only” event found out the hard way we didn’t have nearly enough chairs for all who attended. So if you want to sit, please bring a small folding chair with you. Next, because we know this event will fill the building, we are capping attendance at 35 ladies, and we’re asking you send us an e-mail to this address indicating you plan on joining us.
