i leave mine, the sword fight noise usually lets them know you’re coming fast, and they’ll scramble out of the way.
I’ve been getting a bunch of rub on my front disk brake, so I thought I would figure out an easy way to true up my rotor.
So how did you actually do it? Kind of hard to see from the picture. I tried doing mine with the wheel still on the bike and just kind of eyeing where it was rubbing the pads and bending it accordingly with an adjustable wrench. Seemed to work alright but took a while to get it just right. Your using a feeler guage clamped to a stand?
It is a vernier caliper clamped to the truing stand to measure the runout of the rotor. I used a piece of aluminum bar stock with a slot cut in it to do the actual bending.
