I’m thinking about ordering a nomad 90 I can get my hands on one early September. From Bateman bike shop! I have no experience on that bike. I do like the MX style bikes. I’ve already sold my 5010 and I still have my chameleon. I’m just looking to see what people have to say about the bike.
My brother has owned 2 nomads. A 2014 which he bought used in bc when he lived there . And then a 2018 xo ( 27.5) build which he absolutely loved, hes been addicted to the brand ever since. Only issues he eber had was with tubeless valves clogging which can happen on any bike and then the rock shox dropper post that came on the 2018
He switched to a bronson after that only because he found the nomad was too much travel for the trails here, less efficient peddling.
He says he would go with either a hightower or megatower next time soley to get away from the mix wheel format for better role over and better bb clearance. Both are 29ers
I ordered it from Bateman bike shop. Will be here mid September, I ordered the nomad 90 in red. Or coral as it looks. Something different I had too many black bikes.. lol. Take a picture once I have it. Thanks for the great info. I appreciate it.
