Let’s ride Evil Birch this week. Its a fun climb with some tech and a nice decent out.

Where: Meet at Quarry Rd entrance off Kearny Lake
When: 7pm
Difficulty: Intermediate / Advanced with a heart healthy climb.

Notes: Bug spray. Bring a light if you have one. Just in case we get delayed.

Too much rain, we’re cancelling this one. Sorry.

Keep an eye out for a ride Wednesday or Thursday depending on weather and ride lead availability.

That is a good call. The rock at Evil Birch (and there are a billion of them) is not grippy like the rock you find at Whopper or Fight. It is generally smooth and very slick when wet. A ride there tonight would definitely up the difficulty level of an already difficult trail (albeit one of my favorites)
