Looking for suggestions for downhill parks in Europe. We’ll be traveling from Italy to Amsterdam in the span of two weeks, with planned stops in Switzerland, Germany and Austria along the way. Has anyone been to any parks in these areas that you absolutely loved??? Beginner to intermediate terrain preferred.
Never been there specifically but
Morzine, Schladmig, Leogang, Val Di Sole.
Its endless, enjoy. Get insurance.
I did Leogang in Austria last summer, it was great. Only thing is that I would not really consider it good for a beginner, but you may find this in many Europe bike parks, they don’t seem to care much for green/blue trails, and they don’t care if you kill yourself. The attitude is MUCH different than North America.
I rode in Lenzerheide, Switzerland last year. I stuck to the beginner and intermediate trails bc I knew I had to get myself on a plane the next day, but they were really awesome. The intermediate was more like a black diamond here. There are not many trails at this bike park, but they are very well built. It was raining, and not a puddle to be seen. I would say it’s more of a quality over quantity type place. It would make a great stop for a day or two.
