Is anyone else excited about the fat bikes coming out this year?

Surly, 9Zero7 and Salsa seemed to dominate this expanding market for a number of years. Walmart came out with their version of a fatbike earlier this year . . . but nothing to get excited about.

Now Kona (looks odd), Specialized (with their own 4.8 tire), Trek (cool frame) and Norco will be available for the snow this winter.

I’m stoked.

Specialized has come out with 20" and 24" wheeled versions for 2015. Norco has 5 models, one with an electric motor…very cool stuff.

All are available now…very cool indeed.
