I just saw a GreenPeace article about a protest against Sobeys for selling codfish because of a prediction that it will be extinct in 20 years. Now, I’m all for saving an endangered species, but isn’t this the same group that vehemently protests the East Coast seal hunt? Humans may do damage to the cod stocks, but they’re not the only culprit - the irony would be hilarious if it weren’t so ridiculous.
As long as we never have a funeral for this fishy site!
Seriously, if they want it to stop, go to the gov’t. Sobeys will sell it as long as it’s being caught legally.
