Fortnine

anybody ever bought anything from this company? Fortnine? What was your experience like?

They’re cheaper than most places, Canadian, with fast and free shipping. What else could you ask for? I’m currently wearing a hoodie I bought from them, and almost all my bikes have parts from them.

Thx all.

They have an excellent YouTube channel too. Mostly moto content, but some mtb stuff too. Always super smart and well produced.

I wouldn’t even have known thanks

I’ve bought a lot of my motorcycle gear from them and never disappointed. Good brands, good variety, great prices, easy to deal with. I’ve heard mountain bikers have had similar experiences.

I have been getting mtb parts and clothing, no issues.

Ive bought brakes from them, zero issues

Anyone have an hhp-2 headset press they want to move?

Do you just need to borrow one?

I would rather buy it, as a rule I don’t borrow tools. Maybe that’s from being a retired electrician I don’t know.

Unless you’re doing a pile of headset replacements I have found that the $30 amazon special headset press works great. I’ve used that Park Tool back in my shop days and it is nice, but in my opinion a hard tool to justify. I’ve put headsets and pressfit bottom brackets in with no issues and even a couple really big pivot bearings using the $30 amazon press. It takes a little more care to keep things lined up, but I was all for saving the $270, which I then spent on other tools so I didn’t save money, I just have more tools now.

Ditto I was the service manager at mikes bike shop when I was a much younger. Had the tool in my own collection, lent it out and it and never got it back. So I want the same tool. lol

I have one of those $30 Amazon specials as well, it works well enough. I would say it’s a great option for a home tool kit.
