Germany is already super easy to get around by bike. I have toured over 1000km there and was only on two or maybe three “busy” roads like one of our trunk highways (e.g. NS1) for any length of time. The rest of the time I was on separated bike path or very quiet roads (in towns).
I wish we had a quarter the long distance cycling infrastructure Germany has.
That would be amazing. There are so many people that are terrified to go near a road with a bike. I am sure it would get more people on bikes.
