Hey All. A request: Please refrain from modifying or extending the Spider Lake trails at this time, or construction of any structures. I’ve had discussions with Halifax Water Commission toward a land-use agreement with Bicycle Nova Scotia to formalize and protect the trails, as well as meet the need of HWC to ensure integrity of the watershed. These are in progress… more to follow. But for now, new building compromises our position. Maintenance for safety (brush clearing, removing hazards a rider wouldn’t expect on the trail, etc) should be fine. Thank you.
