Good read, thanks for that. It brings some bad memories back for me. Not bike related, but I had a serious head injury when i was younger, and was sent home that day by the doctors with a mild concussion. Next trip back to the doctors wasn’t much better, and finally when my symptoms kept getting worse, and had an MRI done 3 weeks later, i had a break in the back of my skull that was pushing against my brain. Im still here, and “mostly” fine. It haunts me to this day how it all unfolded, and maybe how things would have turned out better had the attitudes of some people been different that day. But i feel even in the last 10 years, there has been a lot more awareness surrounding head injuries, and that’s good for everyone.

On the plus side: you can remember it!
Good read and a good reason to buy a better helmet than I currently use. I’ve been reading about, and considering buying, a helmet with mips and it seems to be worth the extra cost.
Anyone here had the misfortune to test mips?
