Kentville/Burgher Hill - Jump and Flow Trail GoFundMe

Seen on the interweb:

We are building a new jump/flow trail in the town of Kentville at Burgher Hill. This project is a 1-month build utilizing 50-60 tandem loads of clay fill to construct 12-15 raised features in a 350m gravity-fed run. The goal is to build a trail that is safe and ridable for all ages and skills but advanced enough to challenge and engage advanced cyclists.

We have raised $20,000 of the $36k budget and have grant requests written but are $4k short of the final mark. We need the support of the mountain bike community to get to our final goal and make the trail a reality.

We are lucky to have Devon White of Dirtlove.ca as our trail designer and builder.

We need something like this in Halifax.
Perhaps MRWA can develop a jumpline in McRun similar to what they did at The Railyard?

Agreed! There are a few dirt jump parks around, but they’re too lippy for MTBs.

Stoked for this project, though!

So happy that Devon is doing this build. He knows how to build a proper jump and do it right.

This one won’t be. It’s going to be built for MTBs first
