I had a Roast of similar vintage, maybe a year older. Had fun on that thing.
Hows the tire clearance on the Chute? I remember my Roast was pretty tight and anything over a 2.2 would rub if the rim was even the slightest bit out of true… and that was (and still is for that matter) pretty much all the time for me.
I’ve got 2.3s on there. Doubtful I can go to 2.5
Thats better, 2.3 is enough really.
No, not much point except for on a full on dh rig. I can’t even remember if I had 2.5 or 2.3 on my stab primo. Probably 2.5 as it was the style at the time.
